Creating Value in Real Estate For Decades
Located in the historic Monadnock Building in Downtown Chicago, Chioros Properties continues to create value in the rehabilitation and new construction of real estate in the city of Chicago.
Having been started by Michael Chioros after the sale of his previous firm in 2009, Chioros Properties continues the award winning and responsible development of it’s predecessor. Several Commercial Building are still owned with the former Principals of Vranas and Chioros including 5951-63 N. Clark in the Edgewater Community. See www.vranaschioros.com for a complete list of over three million square feet of commercial and two thousand seven hundred apartments which were owned and/or operated during the 35 years of Vranas and Chioros.
Chioros Properties continues in the Edgewater and other North Side neighborhoods as evidenced by the recent success and awards of 1022 Catalpa, 5519 Broadway, and 5411 Winthrop among others. Recently Chioros Properties acted as a key consultant in the design and zoning of a new 78 unit building at 2501 W Armitage. He also acted as advisor to a non profit organization in its conversion of a key piece of surplus land in the heart of the Gold Coast, to a developer of high end luxury condominiums.
The 80 Unit 18 story building, rental apartment building at 450 W. Belmont is completed and occupied. Once the three year design, community, and City of Chicago approval process was completed by Chioros Properties, the project was transferred over to CA Ventures to add to their portfolio. The design that was created by Antunovich Architects is stunning and a great addition to the Belmont Harbor Community.
The 17 unit new construction rental building at 933 W. Belle Plaine was completed in 2018 and is fully leased. Outdoor spaces, 10 foot ceilings throughout, and a bold design made a bold statement. One block to CTA Rapid Transit and 4 blocks to Wrigley Field had great appeal to new tenants. The property was sold at a record price for the area.
Two new Single Family homes were also developed and sold in 2018 and 2019 in the Bucktown and Roscoe Village neighborhoods of the City of Chicago.
Two new multi-family projects are planned in 2022 in the communities of Buena Park and Roscoe Village.
